2012 Applicant Meetings for H3Africa NIH Funding Opportunity Announcements
Meeting Overview
NIH staff from the Human Heredity and Health in Africa (H3 Africa) Initiative will host three Applicant Information Sessions in Africa on May 29, June 4 and June 7 (see below for details). The meetings are intended to provide information for investigators who are interested in applying to the NIH-H3Africa Initiative.
At each Applicant Information Session:
- NIH H3Africa staff will present general information about the upcoming Funding Opportunities Announcements (FOAs) and the NIH application process;
- NIH staff will answer general questions about the FOAs; and
- Interested investigators will have an opportunity to meet individually with NIH staff to ask questions, discuss their ideas for H3Africa projects and receive feedback on reviews of previous H3Africa applications, where applicable.
The agenda will be the same at each meeting. NIH is hosting three meetings to minimize the amount of travel that will be necessary for interested investigators.
H3Africa will post Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) from the meetings on its website shortly after the last meeting is held.
