Dr. Bull is Senior Researcher in the Ethics of Genomics and Global Health at The Ethox Center, University of Oxford, Oxford, United Kingdom. Her primary degrees are in molecular genetics and in law. Dr. Bull obtained her M.A. and Ph.D. in medical law and ethics from King's College, London, United Kingdom. She was Assistant Director of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics before undertaking doctoral research in the legal, ethical, and social issues impacting the design of consent processes for international research. Dr. Bull's current research interests include ethical and policy issues in international research, particularly in regard to seeking consent for, and management and release of, data generated by large-scale collaborative global health projects, such as the genomic research conducted by MalariaGEN.
