Mason, M.S., M.B.A., serves as Clinical Trials Specialist in the&nbsp;Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the&nbsp;National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.&nbsp;Ms. Mason provides technical and scientific leadership for NIAID extramural clinical research on respiratory diseases. In this role, she manages studies conducted at U.S. and international sites&nbsp;andensures that studies are developed and conducted in compliance with FDA regulations, international guidelines, and NIAID policies. In addition, she&nbsp;evaluates accrual goals, projects overall costs and expenditures, and recommends re-budgeting or redistribution of resources as needed.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Mason&nbsp;received her M.B.A. and Master\u2019s in Health Care Administration from the University of Maryland.
