Dr.\u00a0 Peterson plays an important role in the administration of NHGRI extramural\u00a0 activities and is involved\u00a0 in NHGRI&#8217;s\u00a0 sequencing program, the Cancer Genome Atlas project and the Knockout Mouse Project.
