For the Human Heredity and Health in Africa (H3Africa) Initiative, a “white paper” was used to solicit ideas from senior African scientists and scientists with extensive research experience in African populations.<\/h6>\n

This process was used, for example, to obtain suggestions of research priorities, how to build infrastructure, reach training targets, principles for governance and also to bring together researchers working in Africa. This white paper,\u00a0Harnessing genomic technologies toward improving health in Africa: Opportunities and Challenges,\u00a0can be downloaded\u00a0as a PDF \u00a0in a new browser window, read online or printed out.<\/p>\n
