Kobus Herbst

Dr Kobus Herbst is Director of Population Science and a faculty member at the Africa Health Research Institute, and formerly directed the South African Population Research Infrastructure Network (SAPRIN). Trained in medicine, bioengineering and public health, his work focuses on longitudinal population surveillance, research data repositories and enabling the responsible secondary use of health research data.
