Dr Michelle Skelton

Dr Michelle Skelton is a programme manager and leader in genomics and data science in Africa. She leads the H3Africa and DS-I Africa Coordinating Centres at the University of Cape Town and supports scientific collaboration across the continent.
As Principal Investigator of the H3Africa Administrative Coordinating Centre and the DS-I Africa Coordinating Centre, she oversees consortium administration, communications, fiscal management, policy and guideline development, and the coordination of meetings and conferences. Her work also supports early-career scientists through training, professional-development initiatives and strategic partnerships.
