Dr Disebo Potloane is the Site Director of the CAPRISA Vulindlela Clinical Research Site (VCRS), located in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. She is a Clinician with special interests in HIV Epidemiology and Prevention as well as the vaginal microbiome, with the main focus of preventing new HIV infections in young women. In addition to leading multiple key HIV PrEP studies being conducted at the Vulindlela site she also serves as the South African Principal investigator for the Vaginal LIve Biotherapeutic RANdomized Trial – VIBRANT.
