Global Infectious Disease Research Administration Development Award for Low-and Middle-Income Country Institutions (G11 Clinical Trial Not Allowed): https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-18-335.html
The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to invite applications from research institutions in low- to middle-income countries (LMIC) to provide senior administrators from these institutions with advanced training in the management of NIH grants. The ultimate goal is to improve oversight of NIAID grant awards and compliance with NIH funding policies and Federal research funding requirements for NIAID-supported foreign institutions in low to middle-income countries.
Emerging Global Leader Award (K43; PAR-17-001)
https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-TW-18-001.html
Due to a technical error in the NIH Guide, potential applicants may have seen an incorrect version of the Global Emerging Leaders Award (K43) FOA, with application due dates that were no longer valid. Consequently, the due date for this year has been extended to December 14, 2017 (see Notice: https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-TW-18-001.html ). There were no other changes in the FOA. Those who submitted for the November 7 due date have the option of withdrawing their applications and resubmitting for the new date. However, this is not required, and if an application was successfully submitted, it might be safest to leave it in the system. Applicants should check their eRA Commons accounts to be sure their application was accepted successfully by NIH. If not, they now have time to make corrections.

This notices clarifies the K43 eligibility for individuals at MEPI-supported institutions. Junior faculty at institutions awarded under RFA-TW-14-003 “Research Training for Career Development of Junior Faculty in Medical Education Partnership Initiative (MEPI) Institutions (D43)” remain eligible for the K43.
